Promoting Health and Wellbeing in Zimbabwe

We work with Orphans, vulnerable Children, Women, the Youth and families in Zimbabwe to restore health, keep kids in school and build strong, safe homes. Through healthcare access, nutrition, education support, and community care, we help children heal and thrive.

Learn About Our Commitment to Community Wellness

Mudiwa Organisation is a Zimbabwean nonprofit based in Zimbabwe since year 2012, we have partnered with communities, clinics, and schools to protect orphans and vulnerable children through health, education, and family support. Rooted in ubuntu, we believe every child deserves to grow up safe, healthy, and full of hope.

WHO WE ARE

Mudiwa Organisation is a Zimbabwean nonprofit entity registered under the Private Voluntary Organisation Act, PVO 09/12 in the year 2012. We have walked alongside communities in Mashonaland Central, West and Harare Metropolitan provinces. We have local leaders, social workers, caregivers, and volunteers united by ubuntu — the belief that a child’s wellbeing is everyone’s responsibility. We partner with clinics, schools, traditional leaders, and government to make sure no child falls through the cracks.

Modester Nyasoka

14 years old Chinhoyi.

After my parents died, I stayed home to care for my brothers. Mudiwa Organisation paid for my fees and gave me uniforms. My teacher says I’m top in Mathematics now. I want to be a nurse and help other children like me.

Gogo Chipo

Caregiver

When my daughter passed.away, I was left with 3 grandchildren and no food. The nutrition garden and savings group from Mudiwa helped me feed them. Now I teach other grandmothers. We are not alone anymore.

Before Mudiwa, children missed appointments and defaulted on HIV treatment. Now their community health workers bring them, follow up at home, and counsel the families. Our adherence rates is now just at 40%.
